When Edgar Bronfman Jr gained ownership of Universal Studios he got into some odd marketing campaign practices. One of which is this rare, employee orientation video, that enlightened people about how things were going to change under new management. It was comissioned to be written and directed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and it was, and Jr. didn’t like it, so they scrapped it. Great satire, video includes appearances by Steven Spielberg, Demi Moore, Tracy Lords, James Cameron, Michael J. Fox, and Sylvester Stallone.

As you all know, we love Lisa Hannigan here at The Department. We also love her creative new videos. Most inspiring is how little money these videos cost, and how effective and evocative they are. Take a note low budget filmmakers.

One of our favorite bands here at The Department is Modest. Check out this nifty little video where Issac takes you thought his house and shows off his dead animals. Oh, the band also plays a new song at the end of the video. Enjoy - The Department of Light and SoundMODEST MOUSE DEBUTS NEW SONG AT ISSAC’S HOUSE
